Celebrating and decimating pop culture since 1997

Friday Playlist

Can you feel that Friday goodness in the air? Smells like the turnstiles at Australia’s Wonderland… EXCITING! If you needed a virtual nudge to down tools early in anticipation, we are here for you. This be the Friday Playlist.

1. Young Galaxy – Peripheral Visionaries

Nice animated clip featuring a skeleton whose fate is decide by a mouse-clicking God. Is good.

2. Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire ft. Despot, Das Racist, Danny Brown, EL-P – The Last Huzzah (Remix)

Cool as ice hip hop track featuring lots of jiggling ass, salty language and a couple of white rappers who look like high school science teachers.

3.Dancing Pigeons – Ritalin

We may be a little late to the party on this one, but the clip is too cool to ignore. Fire is just excellent.

4. Wavves – Bug

Nirvana posters, grubby apartments and dudes smoking bongs – yep, it’s like being in high school in 1992 all over again (except for the gun-toting mermaid part).

5. Unknown Mortal Orchestra – Ffunny Friends

This got featured a few weeks back, but now its got an appropriately trippy clip.

Classic Track of the Week

Nirvana – Territorial Pissings (Live at The Paramount 1991)

Nevermind turns 20 this week. We are now officially old as, bros. Put on your favourite flannie, strap on the Docs and watch Kurt shred shit up.
